A gamer has recently filed a class action suit against EA, Harmonix and MTV Networks after producing and distributing a weak and easily broken foot pedal. Monte Morgan is claiming that the pedal fractures under ordinary and expected usage, preventing gamers from playing Rockband in the manner intended. Morgan is wanting reimbursement of the purchase price of the Rock Band drum kit and for publishers to stop selling the said foot pedal.
