At the press conference this morning Microsoft surprised a lot of people when they announced the integration of some of the most popular social networking sites on the net.
The announcement detailed some of the new features that will be available later this year on the 360. FaceBook will be accessible via an interface that looks like the current Xbox dashboard with a Facebook paint job, it will include the ability to view photos, add and check status updates invite Facebook friends to be Xbox Live friends and vice versa.
Twitter will also be available via to check tweets and tweet alike.
The added functionality definitely takes the power of the Xbox 360 an extra step forward in becoming a community enriching and networking device.
