Hotly anticipated Metro: Last Light has had some interesting news – the multiplayer component has been removed.
The game slated to drop next year is a follow up to the impressive Metro: 2033 (which featured single player only). Developers have refused to rule out possible post-release DLC for multiplayer, but have said “Right now we’re 100% focused on the single player campaign and not thinking beyond that. We don’t like throwing away work though, it’s a project we could potentially return to afterMetro: Last Light ships”
“After E3, we decided to fold this multiplayer team back into the main group and focus 100% of the studio’s resources on the single player campaign. As a result, Metro: Last Light will not ship with a multiplayer component” a 4A games rep said, and followed it up by saying “single player is what the fanbase cares most about”
