Okay, I'm beginning to look at getting a PS3 if/when my bonus rolls around. Most of you know that I run my 360 through a LCD screen, and I’d need to use the PS3 the same way. Anyone else do this? Is there a cable to do it, and if not what is the best way?

Ive been looking at this too Tel cause i sometimes drag my 360 to the computer room and use VGA when the misus requires the TV, would be nice to be able to do it for my ps3 also i believe this is one way....
![]() HDMI to Vga, you could also do HDMI to DVI if your screens got DVI? |

That is ugly as hell.
![]() Mind you, the current cable salad behind the screen isn't pretty at the moment anyhow. Anyone tried this? How does it work? And what screen resolutions can it support? Oh, and where can you buy it?

My PS3 runs through my monitor via HDMI-DVI lead ($10 of trademe a few years back), note your monitor will need to be HDCP compatible.
Screen res options are 576i ,576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p. EDIT: Sorry this info's only useful if you have DVI input on your monitor

Can't overstate this enough.
Page 2 and noone has yet asked for make/model of monitor. Would take the guesswork out of this if it was clear what the monitor is/isn't capable of. |

I've got mine on a HD component cables for my 360 is that better than an HDMI to DVI connection? Just wondering it's a 26 inch HD ready TV with up to 1080i support and my PS3 takes up the normal HDMI slot only one left is the second DVI one.
