Yeah, it does look good.

But.... egh..

Am i the only one whos had enough of shooters for a while?

I freaking am loving the shit out of BFBC2, it is the tits..
Another shooter... maybe by the time it's out i'll be keen, but as it is now, I'm just finding it hard to get excited for another shooter..

true, but i doubt it will be out till novemberish. And I will be more than ready for a new shooter by then. Doubt I will be done with BC2 though.

I am quite interested to see how themultiplayer will pan out. As you may or may not be aware the multiplayer side of things is being done by DICE.

previous experiences with medal of honor games will leave me wary of buying this, but will keep an eye on Dice's MP

Everything I have heard about it so far sounds really positive. And it seems that EA are really putting their weight behind it.

I did actually enjoy Airborne though...

But yeah, in my opinion no one does multiplayer shooters as well as DICE, so I would be very surprised if that wasnt great

Yeah can't wait for that next week, going to be a refreashing change from the BFBC2/Borderlands combo that i'm rocking at the mo haha.

Still, that trailer looks good, i guess i'm just over the cluster of shooters at the moment.

Will see what more comes of it, if the graphics are as good as what people seem to be saying.. could be worth a shot.. but as of now, i've got the online shooter that i want.

I got my hopes up when I checked out the vid, then I realised it's going to be running on two seperate engines.
I suspect that all the footage we've been seeing is from the campaign...would be interested to see some MP vids.

True but you have seen the frostbite engine. Its (multi) not going to look worse than bc2 ...

this has the potential to either be a huge flop or a really good FPS, i dont see it being as big as mw2 or bfbc2 tho.
but im definitely interested

It's definitely a unique idea having one developer work work with their engine on the multiplayer and the other on the single player. Anyone know if it's been done elsewhere before?

I think Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow might have been a split between Ubi Montreal and Ubi Shanghai? I haven't fact checked this, so I'm not dead certain.

I think that for large publishers wioth plenty of devs its not the worst idea. Having two teams focus on what they do best to give you one whole. Well... thats the idea at least

Pretty sure GRAW was split like that too. Which explained the vast differences.
I certainly can't recall any cases where it's been split like that and there's been a huge disparity in quality between the two (GRAW is actually the only one that comes close from my recollection).
