Default Premium Avatars

Does anyone know how to get premium avatars working for multiple accounts on your PS3? my kids also use my PS3 but when I buy a premium Avatar on my account, they cant access it for use on their account. Again, this is all on the same PS3.

Kind of disappointing since all other content seems to be shared across accounts.

Avatars are network based ie they are stored on a Sony server and displayed across all the PSN services like PSN cards, forums and blog posts, never on the system itself.

I think that because you're buying it for your account they won't be able to use it on their account, unfortunately.

Seems a bit silly since you can buy a game and use it under different accounts. There is no way I'm setting up multiple accounts on the PS store to buy avatars.

Wait, is this for their online accounts or their system accounts?

I have the master account and ability to purchase from the PSN store. All my kids accounts are on the same PS3 and on-line enabled.

Ah, yeah. It's because they're separate accounts. A master account basically lets you control you're sub accounts and manage their purchases etc. However, you're buying an image for your account, the content of which isn't shared with other users. I mean, they could make games only playable by a certain account, but that would cause a shit storm and be a horrible idea. With avatars at whatever they are ($1-$2?) I don't think it's that big a deal.

They're only 50c however, its just the stupidity of having to set your kids up with separate store accounts so they can make purchases.

Wait, you mean putting in the credit card details?

Though buying stuff for other accounts would be nice... Come on

You can set it to remember your details so you only have to do it once, if that helps.
