Developed by Double Fine (Tim Schafer's studio).
Although I skipped out on Costume Quest, I played Psychonauts and Brutal Legend. I downloaded it without hesitation (as soon as I decided between XBLA & PSN). And all the videos looked so interesting and I love adventure games. But I'm just finding the game a little boring. I've gotten up to the boat level and I just wanted to stop playing. I'll probably go back and give it another go. I mean I don't just buy games for the heck of it? (Do I?) Please tell me I'm not the only one not enjoying it? Or can you convince me that it does get better? Last edited by Mriceguy; 20-02-2011 at 08:52 PM. |

Got it but haven't played it yet - Test Drive is taking up all my time. Have found 100% of roads in Ibiza - now off to do Hawaii again - having done this in the first iteration.

I'm quite liking it
It's silly and fun in a lego kind of way.It doesn't get better though.

I tried the trial, it amused me briefly befor I decided it was boring. I like that Double Fine are making DL titles, but I want them to put as much work into them as their disk based games, they seem to have lowered their standards just because they are making smaller games but they really do not have to do that.
I prefered costume quest to stacking, but still not enough to go past the trial.

It's an absolutely beautifully presented game, and a neat idea, but it does seem to get old rather quick...
