So I while ago I bought one of those turtle beach headsets for about $150 or so. Turns out it was a piece of shit with constant feedback in the background, rendering in useless. I think N8 dawg may have had issues with this also.
Can anyone recommend a good set? As much as I would love Morehu's wireless stereo sound set, I dont quite have $500 to spare. Chur from the jman. |

I have the Turtle Beach wireless X31s, and I'm really impressed. I have had Trittons before and the TBs are way better.

Astro wireless mixamp is good. A30 headset isn't bad.

Astro Mixamp for sure and then score yourself a set of Razer Charcaria's.
Instant win. |

I had the X31s (ones Minnoxide now has) and while they were good headphones I was getting a bunch of interference from them (surrounded by wireless stuff and was getting a nasty nasty popping sound which drove me bonkers). I now have Minnoxides old X11s (basically same thing but wired) and they are sweet. Only issue I have is while the chat can be turned up seperate to the game volume I still cant get chat loud enough.....
I haven't tried any other wireless options or brands. |

It's pretty damn hard to master the balance between the dashboard chat slider, and the headphones. Then you have game sound to balance, and it gets downright messy when you try and add Music to that

When I had the x11's I used to combat that by turning the games master volume down which makes the chat louder in turn -_-
