iPhone apps on iPad are even better now that many apps have/are being upgraded to support iPhone 4's high res display. The iPhone 4s display (960 x 640) has almost the same pixels as the iPad's 1024 x 768, so even the iPhone apps running at full screen are much crisper than they used to be.

I will probably be happy to wait for the ipad 2 to come out, that will likely have the Retina display.

Yeah, imagine that! It would be incredible. I'd love them to build it into their computers, it would be great to be able to zoom out on a layout and not have the small type un-renderable. And web fonts wouldn't need to be stupid pixelated versions of their real selves.

I'll be ordering a Kindle when they are available... can't beat the $200 (ish) pricetag.

I have got one on lone for the weekend, pretty bloody sweet bit of kit. No usb support a bit of a drag and a shit to set up for file sharing over a network.

Have been browsing BM forums on the couch with it, me likes, maybe a 2nd gen purchase when they come.

I had a go on an IPad this week. They look and feel great but I really can't find a use for one myself. If it could do everything my Netbook can do then maybe...but it can't.

Once you get past the initial wow factor there's not much else, well, not stuff I buy into anyway.

Anyone looking for Netbook functionality in an iPad will be sorely disappointed. Netbook replacement was not the design philosophy.

If the rumours are true then the ipad 2 could be a sweet device.
Sd card, camera and the ios 4.3 new multitasking swipes would be sweet.

Would fix some of the most anoying day to day issues I have. Will have to wait and see. Honeycombs live presentation made it look really good as well.

Retina Display would be the killer feature for me. I read that the multitouch gestures aren't going to be released to the public in 4.3, they're keeping them for devs to play with for a while. They work really well on Apple's MacBook trackpads so I hope they do end up getting officially added.

I'm not so sure about an SD card slot though … I'll believe it when I see it. Apple's putting them in all their MacBooks and iMacs so it's possible I guess.
