Hrmmmm. It was after the submarine ride. It's been 12 years since I've played, so I'm a little foggy on when it happens. All I remember is getting to an icy/snow level going as far as I could and being absolutely and utterly stuck.

Hey i see Rock Band 3 is $29.99 as a digital download - good price.

Finished Halo Anniversary co-opping with a mate - really enjoyed it. We're going to play through Reach next.

Also finished Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands, in one 15 hour session. I really enjoyed it, but took me ages to get past one of the water-freezing platform sections - timing was everything in that game.

Revisited Borderlands, and got quite far into it - looking forward to 2.

Went ape on Mass Effect 2 - 3 should be equally awesome. Picked up 1, but haven't really touched it.

Quite a few games i really need to look at again that i either haven't touched for a while, only got a fraction of the way through, or haven't even put in the machine yet;
- Just Cause 2 - looks hella fun, and i've only really just tooled around exploring and shit.
- Bionic Commando - like the idea of the bionic arm grapple thing, ala Just Cause 2. This was an impulse buy when i saw it Zavvi or Gameshop for cheap. Apparently rather average at best.
- The Saboteur - 1st mission done, then never touched again.
- Halo Wars - bought 2 years ago, still hasn't even been put in the drive (not sure it ever will be).
- Original Prince of Persia - never been in the drive.

Just went to have a look at my collection - holy crap, so much stuff i've barely touched, what a waste; Crackdown2, BF3, Alan Wake, Orange Box, Farcry 2, Forza 4, Condemned 2 .... and i could actually go on.

Need to pull my finger out and start playing some of these.

This afternoon, i think i'll spend some time in New Vegas
Wow, you have some awesome games to get into fulla. Must plays imo are. Halo Wars, Orange Box (definitely play the H/Ls), Far Cry 2 and I really enjoyed the Prince of Persia 'reboot' game. Cool art style.

It's shameful on my part really - sooo much neglected stuff that i should be getting into. I'll start with the ones you've suggested.

Picked up the free version of Ghost Trick on iOS today. It's only the first two chapters, but it will definitely turn into a purchase as I always wanted to play this on DS and the free trial showed that the controls work perfectly on iPhone.

Also got Resident Evil: Revelations today and put some time into that. VERY good, and the controls are so much better with the circle pad pro. My only gripe is that my right thumb cramps up with the second analog stick which is a bit of a shame.

Ahhhh, I have such love for that game. I've played that through 3 times I think and no doubt will play it again once more before the next XBox hits.

Played through the first chapter of Resident Evil: Revelations just now.

I hate to say "for a handheld", but this is one immersive, atmospheric game. It feels like a "bigger" experience than you typically get on a handheld, if you know what I mean.

If the 3DS continues to crank out games of this calibre, then I will be spending a lot of time on my 3DS in the future

Totally agree. I'm enjoying it more than RE5 so far, and I've heard the "Mercenary mode" (Raid mode) is better too. Loving it so far.

Just finished Bastion. The actual gameplay mechanics are fun, but they are left in the dust by the awesome music, graphical style and story telling. At 1200 points its a bit steep, but its solid at 600 points on the current deal.

Thanks to so many bloody good deals from online shops, I'm getting a huge back log of games.... Just started Bulletstorm, and got Dead Island and Rage waiting. Also got to give Dead Space 2, Halo: CE, and Deus Ex a proper crack. All this with Kingdoms of Amalur and Mass Effect 3 just around the corner....

And I won't even mention the pile of older games to get through, like Civ: Rev, Fear 2, Farcry 2, etc.... It's a big list!
