If you're not aboard the Parks and Rec train it's by time you do. It's just finished its fourth season so there is some catching up.
Mind you the first season is a little rocky, just hang in there, it's worth it. While I still enjoy Community I think my heart has more room for Parks. It's endearing, hilarious and all round awesome. And it's probably the first comedy to make me shed a tear. Last edited by Mriceguy; 15-05-2012 at 07:53 PM. |

The first season is definitely rocky. My wife and I have attempted a few times to get into it (all the seasons are on Netflix) but we didn't warm to any of the characters nor were we taken in by the story. Can you put up an argument for giving it another shot, and how far through S1 we should go before knowing that we've seen the best of it?

Yeah, the first season is a bit sucks, but it's only 6 episodes. After that it gets properly awesome. It's one of my favourite shows, even though it's basically just good friends being excellent to each other; a theme that sounds awful but works incredibly well.
Also, Ron Swanson is the greatest. ![]() http://ronsays.tumblr.com/ ::edit:: If you can't deal with the first season, but know the characters, then I recommend skipping to season 2. Somewhere early in S2 I realised that it was 1am, I had work at 7am, but a shitload of P&R left to watch. I was late for work. And yes, it was worth it. Last edited by GaR; 16-05-2012 at 11:20 AM. |

I've watched the first two seasons with my girlfriend and we both love it. Need to get the third and fourth
