GT5 fans might be keen on this one: three stealth car download for 1000 points. I assume these are like unicorns in Forza?

nzBrowncoat complains. Mighty Ape provides.

Heaps and heaps of good shit in there now. Might get something. I'm leaning towards 'Catz 2006', looks like a mighty good game.

I'm personally leaning towards that Surfboard-shaped "OC" Keyring. Either that, or the Rey Mysterio wrestler DVD from 2003.

Great to see that they actually listened, and put some awesome stuff up for people to spend their points on.

Nice work Mighty Ape; you guys really do rock.

Seriously, is that what the revamped Banana Points range looks like? Either i've expectations that are far too high, or yours are far too low - a lot of that stuff looks like promotional rubbish that they were given for free, or is just unappealing crap.

I've got 68 Banana Points, and it certainly doesn't compel me to buy pretty much anything from MA to increase these points.

Total and utter shit as far as i'm concerned; they should be ashamed offering a range like that as loyalty program rewards.

I agree with you. Banana Points for store credit/% off would be awesome. But anything better than a "Highschool Musical 3 stick-on tattoo" is a win imo.

Hardly get anything from Mighty Ape these days so got rid of my last 2000 bananas on some DLC for Mafia 2 and Saints Row 3...

Between Player Points and regular discount vouchers on nz/ozgameshop all I get is the odd pre-order/special edition from MA...

Yeah i know right! I'm just not prepared to give my hard-earned to companies that basically just take the piss with their pricing. I mean, which one would you buy?

If High School Musical stick-on tatts was the best Banana Point product they perviously had on offer, i guess what they have currently is a slight improvement. But crap is still crap, even if it's deemed to be slightly-not-as-crap.

F**k you MA; nzgameshop for the win.

That's a bit of an improvement. Still nothing that grabs my attention, but hopes are a bit higher for the future.

I pretty much always buy from MA because they have excellent customer service and super fast delivery. Rewards schemes don't factor into it for me. Comparing item for item is pretty pointless unless they're release day prices, and then delivery time becomes a factor.

Yeah, i don't agree; todays price for a game is todays price. I'm okay with a few extra days shipping, when that shipping is free (and the cost of the same game is almost $40 less).

Really? Man, with nzgameshop.com I have NEVER had to wait more than 5 business days and usually save ~$40. I don't NEED to play a game that desperately in the first week. I can't honestly say I'd get $40 worth of extra enjoyment by playing it day 1. Maybe some games, but definitely not the majority.

The savings and the points I can turn into $$$ off is a big plus for me. I recently got Max Payne 3 for $67 a week after launch, and Dirt 3 for $8 thanks to vouchers used from points earned, and all that with absolutely free shipping.

Whereas MightyApe charge me for shipping, have a higher price but will get the game to me on launch.
