I'm still pretty average at the Table Tennis, but keen for a game sometime. When i originally had the disc version, i started with Juergen (mainly because of his power). This time round, i'm making fairly good progress with Luc.
Who do you reckon is the best character Wugg? Liu Ping? |

You'd be surprised how balanced the game is, imo. They all have strengths that it's important to play to, and it's equally important to be wary of your opponents strength and avoid it. Jesper's a good starting character, his forehand topspin will pretty much crush anyone that allows him to play that game. His long reach also means you don't need to be as precise about positioning. He can't spin the ball for shit though, which is where everyone will get around his dominant power. All the strengths and stats are listed in the character gallery or whatever it is, it's worth taking a look, if only so you know which side of the opponent to focus on. For my own personal choice, I prefer the power players that are a little more rounded. Jung Soo is who I usually pick, though Mark and Solayman also have good power stats.

Wugg; yes Jesper, that's it. Solayman kept kicking my arse during one tournament final, so i guess he's a good choice. I don't recall Mark though.
Cap'n; that's weird, as that promotion is supposed to run until 3 July. |
