Default Firmware updates

Anyone else notice these take ages? My PS3 is craaaaaaawling. PSP downloaded fine, but I've got to wait for the battery to charge before I can install it...

PS3 updates always take a little while, I don't mind though because I love the constant support ^______^

I use wireless to and found that the 802.11g was slower than the 802.11b and apparently is a common problem.
I ended up setting my router to b only and got faster speeds!

The update is slow because it is 120mb in size. All the updates will be that size because you have to download the WHOLE firmware.
