Hmmm. So is anyone really surprised that two nations that have been fighting each other for thousands of years (under various names) are still fighting each other? Really?

As for the civilians. I will take those numbers with a significant portion of salt. Just cause they dont have a tattoo on their face saying TERRORIST doesn't mean they aren't. Also Hamas use civilians as body shields. Am i supposed to be pissed off at israel when those people get killed? Think i'll side with the people not being outright assholes. Hamas are a bunch of fuckers and they deserve whats coming to them. It sucks that some innocents get in the way. Sadly thats how HAMAS prefers it

It's a terrible situation and you have to see it from both sides. The hamas have got it wrong here, their way isn't the way to a final resolution of this, if thats even possible. They are clearly the wrong people to be leading the Palestinians. Israel has treated the people of the Gaza with utter contempt for quite some time, and they had to expect some sort of resistance when they have a stranglehold on water and productive land. And to be honest that resistance is pretty pathetic, very few of those homemade rockets actually get anywhere near Israel. Israels response is far out of proportion to the impotent attacks of Hamas extremists.

It's a shame that many people see human life as being so cheap and expendable.
