UPDATE: The Medal of Honor beta for the Xbox 360 is delayed but it is expected to be available next week. We are extremely disappointed about this, but want to assure you that we are dedicated and determined to delivering all of you this awesome multiplayer experience as soon as possible. However, we are excited to extend the beta to make up for lost time! The beta will continue as planned for the PlayStation 3 and PC. For these platforms the beta starts on June 21st, however players who own Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and have pre-ordered will be able to enter on June 17th. Id be after an honest opinion from someone whos not a fanboy on how it goes compared to BF,Mw2 before i even go near it.

i just dont see why they dont make it a public beta like BFBC2 i mean look what that did for sales.

Probably a case of 'watch this space' , if it proves popular they might extend to the general populace.

I'd say an open beta is very much on the cards. Once they have things running smoothly at least If their website is any indication, they have had a bumpy start

So I've been mucking around on the ps3 version after much mucking around and wasting a beta key through some drama

Anyhoo so far its pretty fun. Very much a beta though. ie not just a demo like many "beta's" are. Some freezing issues, some work needed on netcode etc. But when its working its damn fun. It does kinda feel like a mw2 mod for battlefield, but in an awesome way. Though a lot of the controls have been tweaked, especially recoil and bullet drop, it does kinda feel like bfbc2 running in some more mw2 sized maps. Which...is damn fun Way more balanced than mw2 already.

So far its been a lot slower paced than MW2 but faster then bc2.

Will do a writeup when i've spent more time with it. Also, need to aquire another code to try out the 360 version when that goes live.

I'm sure you can acquire a code pretty easily chris I suggest you give it a whirl when the 360 one gets up. We can party up and shoot some fools.

While it has a mw2 feel to it, the controls feels nicer (as i prefer bc2) and even in team death match there is an insane amount of team work happening. Which is something that I never ever see in MW2.

This is not bad so far. But just feels a wee bit....boring. Don't wanna be harsh, I havn't cancelled my preorder though. Am gonna give it another go

It has a more measured pace than MW2 for sure. I guess it depends on what floats your boat. Will be A LOT better when/if they sort out lag etc
