So, I checked out the Fire Emblem: Awakening demo last night to see what all the fuss is about. Probably the first demo in a loooong time that has made me really, badly want the full game. If I make it through the day without ordering this, I'll be impressed...

Wasn't expecting to dig this, either, but I can see the combat getting super awesome

Nah, kept it, because I picked up Aliens Infestation (DS) on a recommendation and it is pretty cool.

Was going to trade it in towards a wiiU, but the value has dropped, I'll just keep it going for now.

loved the old N64 and Gameboy Mario Golfs and sounds liek Fire Emblem demo is worth a butcher's.

Noice. Glad you kept it. Even though I hardly play mine, admittedly, I absolutely love it and could never sell mine. It's just that I'm mostly at home, and so the 360 always trumps it.

Yeah, I've heard a bit about Aliens Infestation recently - didn't realise it was a DS game.

Ordered Fire Emblem: Awakening from Zavvi yesterday. Should be here within a couple of weeks. Bums me out because it has been available in stores here in the US for close to THREE MONTHS, but only just came out in EU/ANZ yesterday/today respectively :/

Nintendo needs to sort out its bizarre, staggered regional release thing. Other publishers seem to manage.

How much was it from Zavvi? I need to pick this up, but want to get it cheap. Seriously great demo, and honestly, Legg, if you like this you need to pick up the Ghost Recon game for 3DS. Seriously great.

It was just under $NZ60 from Zavvi.

I keep hearing that Ghost Recon game is good. Might have to check it next time I import something.

I am indeed playing that at the moment BUT I've only allowed 2 to die so far. I saw "allowed" because if I lose one of the favourites I restart the level. I just don't know how NOT to

Heh. I've lost around six characters, all up. The first three were pretty much down to not entirely understanding the cadence of gameplay at that stage, but the others have mostly been down to bad luck.

Cool game, though - perfect for this platform
