I didn't know that you didn't have the game already - I'd say that the gold version is okay if you're buying the game for the first time. The videos are useful and the extra guns are a bonus.
I'm happy with it, anyway.

Yup, I only rented it last night but will we buying it later this week hopefully. I'll see if I can track down a gold version, hopefully some places still have it

Yep well EA should RELEASE/UNLOCK the guns which would let us UNLOCK them with credits, its just gay, i can see them doing it though.

I don't really get how the guns work TBH. There are the 'Find all Five' weapons, the level-25/gold weapons and the unlockable weapons - and you can use them once you've unlocked them. But then there are all those others that are offered as a 'default' weapon. You can't choose what default weapon you are using - you get offered one per match. What's the deal with that?

you get offered different weapons depending on if you are attacking ro defending. At least thats what i think happens.
