Motorstorm was good but not great. It suffered from a severe lack of depth - especially around practice modes, qualifying, time trials, etc. I hope this gets resolved in Pacific Rift however, my money is going first and foremost to LittleBigPlanet and Resistance 2. Motorstorm 2 will be a rental for me to start with and then I may consider getting it next year when its cheap. I mean, look at the cost of getting the first one of TradeMe. I've seen it go as low as $15.

Same here. MS was great fun and the kids enjoy it but LBP and R2 get the money up front.

yeah i rent this before i buy. but i will most likely be a buy. i played the demo and i dont understand why the music cuts out when you land instead of when your high in the air.

I've got the qore demo. The graphics in the demo isn't good, but it's an old build. They already said the final version is better. Finally we've got split screen. We'll have more tracks this time too. I'm looking foward this game, not sure yet, though.

I'm tempted to get the game, but as previous posters have mentioned, the first game was very barebones

But the second has already fixed all those gaps and added more :3

-4 Player split-screen
-Double the tracks (16 now)
-In-game music
-More vehicles (Monster truck)
-Themed levels (fire, water, air)
-Awesome Motorstorm crashes
