That's classic! Sometimes I don't understand the point of spam like that, where even if you were actually tricked into wanting their product, there are no links to anything.

Some spam is just total jibberish. I thought that even spam had a point.
Although, I guess the point is merely to piss everyone off, at no cost to the spammer.

Nah, people buy stuff from spam. If not there wouldn't be an industry.

Some spam doesn't even advertise anything and is literally gibberish text only. No links or image links. It's rarer but out there. Before I started using a Gmail account as a spam filter I used to get over 50 spams a day, even with a (weak) server side filter and SpamSieve plugin that I bought.

Gmail cut it down to almost zero.
