ah I signed up a while ago to follow keivn and alex from diggnation but it got old fast lol,
Now that I'm looking for a job/doing freelance webstuff I will use it to post random links I find =P seams a lot like ircing (at least on #hamlan)

huh? I read one singers one, thats about it. And mine will be really mundane stuff like what I had for breakfast and when I stub a toe or the colour of my pee after a hard nights drinking. Who says a twitter has to be important to waste internet space.

I prefer it. But it depends on what you expect from it. Facebook always bombards me with way too much bullshit

I agree, i've used fb for ages, and twitter is direct and to the point, so much easier to get a message/link/blog etc across to your friends/family/colleagues or point of interest/market you're aiming for.

Also its a media magnet, in other words you can receive news as it happens, even before media outlets get to the source.

Twitter is public/private IM. Facebook is that in a way and a whole lot more. And by that I mean totally bloated. It's a first stop for social networking sites, but with Twitter you know what you're getting.
