iThing Game recommendations

I love Kairosoft and their "Story" games (Game Dev, Mega Mall, etc).
Looking forward to Theme Park releasing on it too

Newsy - picked up their Grand Prix game last week, but not had much chance to dabble. Is Mega Mall likely to be a better pick?

This is why more people should be playing games like Z and Minotaur Rescue.

I've discovered that I only really play iPhone games while I'm waiting for stuff. So it's always in an environment where I don't have much time, or could be interrupted at any time. So a game that takes a while to boot up and get into, and has long play sessions is a game that I'd never play.

For many of those they're too much effort for me to get into, and I procrastinated even launching most of them for long enough that I removed them from my phone.

There's a lot of good gaming there that, if they were on DS three years ago, I'd probably have played and enjoyed them all. But now my attention span is so short, that quick games with solid hooks are perfect for my portable gaming fix.

Heh, that would be quite an achievement. The closest we'll get is Rugby Challenge for PS Vita

One of the team has posted some pointers on Touch Arcade that I thought might be of use to you:

A few tips on getting a highscore -

Bombs - use Reginald Starfire to lock your tower then swipe them out OR Use Boat head restet bombs - combo around them and they will disappear

Three bombs/concrete block you get a CAT!!!! match three cats and all your bricks in the tower will upgrade.

- Keep Reginald Starfire on screen as much as you can. If the tower is topelling swipe a "shiney" brick to him and he will more than likely save you

- Use Mr. Shigoto's double combo whenever you can - I have been using him when I have 2Golds, 2 Silvers, 2 bronzes and make a new combo, while the new combo forms and creates a bronze swipe one of the silvers to Mr. Shigoto - this will result in 2 diamonds.

Lord Ferocious - is useless (TBH) hahaha - were talking about changing him to x100 .... maybe.
If you ever get him onscreen .. get him off with a yellow combo - use boathead to slow time so you can feed any monster any color so you can collect yellows.

MegaZone - once you're in megazone try to line the bricks up as they come down (this needs speed) also get ride of any bronzes or gold in your tower. Make sure you feed the monsters as their special powers dont work in megazone and you can easily loose if you dont keep them at bay.

There's an update in the works, which should take care of a stability issue some iTouch 4G users have reported, adds support for older devices, and gives Lord Ferocious a bit more grunt, so keep an eye out for that.

Bought Another World 20th anniversary edition. Was meaning to play this a long time back.

Already I can see how it influenced games like Heart of Darkness and Abe's Oddysee.

Fun game, although I did rage when I fired it up for the first time on the plane and it doesn't let you proceed without wifi access... Stupid open feint.

I can't really make heads or tails of it though. It's not a simple upload midi and pray scenario.

This game kicks ass. I love it. Single game mechanic though Newsy, you must hate it. :P

I got over 20B points today. It's hard to hold off on the mad combos until you've got the green monster handy for the multiplier boost.

I'm a kneejerk player. I've never got anywhere near those scores. I'm still hooked though. I was playing it at 1 AM this morning :/
