![]() When the PS3 first came out we had music videos from Sony ANZ. They quietly removed them some time ago. I found out about the Androids that way as some other bands I would not have heard of. The Natalia Ibrulia (sp?) video for Shiver was very good. |

Brianemone - your quote from Sony is the typical PR crap that I read everyday from all the other IT vendors I deal with. Sony NZ brings nothing to the relationship between NZ gamers and SCEE otherwise we would get releases the same time as other countries e.g. ZEN Pinball, MGS1 and RE1 on PSN. We would not be waiting for PlayTV - we would have the SD version now and then later an HD version. We certainly would not get a BUZZ NZ edition that equated to nothing more than lip service. |

You expected anything else? I would expect the same answer from any company not offering a service in NZ that is on offer everywhere else in the world. Infact it's the same thing Microsoft has been giving us about the Video marketplace for the last 3 years.

No, but what I do expect is for Sony to announce a release date rather than just remaining silent. Oh, and it they provide a release date that is unfounded then it just reinforces my belief they add nothing.

I don't think you get it. This is there was of saying that at the moment it's not coming out in NZ. There is no release date. As for remaining silent...... they replied to my email pretty damn fast.

Whilst we're on the subject of asking SCEE NZ questions: 1. Why do we not have more PSP games on PSN. 2. What is the release schedule for PSP games on PSN? 3. When is the PSP Go being released in NZ. 4. When is Play TV getting released in NZ. 5. Why on PSN do you have songs for Rock Band Unplugged when there is not even a release date for the game. 6. Why on PSN, when you log in with the PSP, do you get a video for GT5 which can't even playback on the PSP. 7. When was the last time Sony NZ held a gaming competition in NZ, hell, K2 or Wipeout HD provide fantastic opportunities for such a competition. 8. Why is it when you need to send hardware (i.e. the PSP) in for repair it gets sent to Oz? As I said in an earlier post, NZ is a small fish in a big pond however, you tally all the purchases on PS hardware and games in NZ over the course of a year and I would expect it to total well into the millions. Now, when you start talking those sorts of figures do you not think it fair to expect more from Sony NZ? Should Sony NZ not ask how high when I say jump? Umm..wrong. Look I’m not meaning to harp on at you but for someone with so many posts here you seem to know nothing about this topic. Perhaps you could refrain from making statements about something to which you obviously have no real knowledge of. |
