No, I mean parts for making guns. The houses have tons of toy cars etc and lawnmowers in the yards. You can find almost anything there.

Wow i just checked my save file and it says i've already played 56 hours on my first campaign...... jesus this game is awesome/addictive. Easily destroys Far Cry 2, Resi 2, Left 4 Dead and the other recent games in appeal XD.

Mysterious stranger highly recommended. You'll laugh every time he shows up. Massive luck makes it better (although you should have massive luck anyway for a higher crit percent)

Except if the stranger kills don't go towards any other kills. Eg: Grim reaper perk and the other one that boosts your vats accuracy.

Is there an easy way to repair armour/ keep its condition up without spending heaps of bottle caps or carrying extra sets of armour? Thats one thing that keeps bugging me about this game, I hate micromanaging all the crap I pick up just to repair some other item

.Just use Tesla armour or enclave armour and plasma/laser rifles. Also get your repair skill up to 100 then you can repair anything to 100 with the proper stuff it also makes you more efficient at repairing.

my next charater I really must work it more towards using vats, early on I was discouraged by how inacurate it was and how much ammo I wasted, but it seems people use it well when set up right.

Reaper perk. If you kill someone in VATS you get all your AP points refilled.
