Wow, it's so awesome! The graphics are pretty dodge though.

And yet some details really piss me off still... lol. ._. But yeah, so glad to be driving with GT physics :3

Hmm, it's similar... I've not driven that exact car in gt5p, of course, but the understeer and lift-throttle seem to handle differently to what they used to. I very much like the physics, but I can't keep that car on the track for a whole lap. Lol. I did a rubbish lap which was worth 62nd on the leaderboards, then the next few laps I was cutting 1.5+ seconds off it on the first half but making mistakes in the second... not that I'm even close to getting a "good" lap yet due to me being bad at learning to handle new games.
The in-car graphics look better now and the track detail looks worse. The bumping and shaking on the straight are cool D:

So anyway, after a few more laps of Indianapolis, I've decided that the graphics looks better than Forza's photo mode all teh time, which is cool... it's just that there are some shockingly low-poly trees which spoil it. The rest of the stuff is good. Could do with some anti-aliasing, but it's still good. I wonder if it looks any different on a 1080p output.

Secondly, I haven't managed to do a lap anywhere near what I'd consider "good" yet; I just don't have the control over the car which I'd like. Hmm! I'm sitting around 210th on each board... haven't seen any familiar buttonmasher names on teh boards yet either?

Yah true, it's not shiny flashy. They haven't used all the tricks and effects like in Dirt 2 or Forza's bloom lighting. It's all ... kind of plain. But well detailed. With crap trees.

8-bit, are you playing on the Japanese version or the NZ one?

Oh right, I just found out the weird other foreign dude on the leaderboards is the fellow who won the last GT training academy thing and is now a pro. Cool.

I can't get any higher than 500th lols. It's so hard to drive in GT after playing Forza for years.

Last time I raced which was last week I got a time of 1.56.something and was placed in the top 370.
I find though I have to have total concentration to be fast - any interruptions or if someone talks to me then I'm off the track!!

I'm ranked 1222 atm I think. It's fun but my god are the GFX crap, I hope the real game is better than that, considering it was only a 200 mb demo. Also these cars skid like crazy around even the smallest bend at low speeds O.o, and it doesn't feel as if you're going very fast either. Still though I'm enjoying it and I'll keep going at it,. I'd love to get into the GT academy.
