Tron Legacy

Tron was an old 80s film based upon the inner workings of your computer. Where each an every program was an individual person going around completing their jobs for the great "Users", while trying to avoid the eye of the ever watching Master Control Program.
I loved this film, it had so many neat (but dated) lightcycle races and vitual tank wars with a pretty good story to round it all off.
Now it seems they're coming out with a sequel that looks even more badass, with new age lightcycles hopefully it bring back a little bit of the magic from the first movie.

I pretty my jizzed myself when I saw this trailer. How awesome is it going to be. I'm waiting for the original to be released on Blu-Ray. Maybe they'll do a double pack when this finally hits?

Yeh I "acquired" the original today and watched it from start to finish, at first I thought it would just be mildly interesting to see the original but an hour later I was still watching it. It was a great movie but I can see why it was a cult/sleeper hit.

I'd love to see a blu-ray double feature, that would totally make my day and I'd buy it at launch.
Also to anyone out there that hasn't seen the original I'd suggest finding a copy online or off and giving it a go, you might really enjoy it as I did.

Edit: There was also a very well made game based on Tron and set as a sequel, it was called Tron 2.0 and much like the movie it was a sleeper hit. I've "acquired" this also, so i'll tell you guys what I think about it once I've had a go at it.

I skipped this thread because I didn't realise how awesome the trailer for the new movie would be! I didn't know about the first movie, sounds like a good idea but it's all about the lightcycles, 3D will be awesome.

Tron ftw! really looking forward to this sequel or whatever it is trailer looks amazing and hopefully it can live up to the first one. I never played the tron 2.0 game might have to look into that.
