Yea.

Whilst you're statement is true thingiemajiggy, you could almost say that by paying that extra $25 or so, you are gaining enjoyment to a greater value.

Also there are no gaurentee's that BFBC2 will drop quickly, and i have my doubts given the hype and success of BFBC...

Anyone got a release date?

I predict it will as COD:MW2 will be the game everyone wants. B:BC2 will be a minor distraction.

What I can't understand is how so many gamers are ok with paying full price for a game that is going to lag regardless because of EA saying no to dedicated servers for OZ/NZ. That simply does not seem fair!?! I have no problem paying full price and would gladly do so if I was going to get the same deal as gamers overseas.

If they are prepared to take my money then they should show their full support for gamers in this part of the world.

Hell, sky TV should start charging everyone for 1080p signals even though they can only broadcast in 1080i. Basically equates to the same thing.

New helicopters, an AA gun tank plus quadbikes and sometime of new boats

Sounds great so far

Sure it was going to be before that. Oh well may need to break BC back out again or maybe they'll release more 1943 maps

I jumped back on it the other day, first time in 6 months. Got totally hammered. I've forgotten what is best to use for the different maps. Maybe need to have some Buttonmasher team action going I think.

I fully agree with this.
Played a little 1943 lastnight, started off LOVING being back in the planes but ended up HATING the damn servers!!
It's no secret to anyone here how much I enjoy Battlefield games so it should be clear just how much it pains me to say it but...
...if they don't supply Oz/NZ servers I WON'T be getting this.....
I plan on being very vocal about this subject on the BFBC2 forums/twitter acc's and doing everything I can (within reason) to let EA know that this issue will be a deal-breaker for me and MANY others.
Sure it's a great game nonetheless but I just can't bring myself to hand over $ for something that will ultimately frustrate the
f**k out of me.
