I've only played onslaught a couple of times and both occasions I have not been able to kill AI, which is pretty frustrating. Have gone back to Rush and Squad Deathmatch for now until it's sorted.

I had a few more games of this last night and had a much better experience It's a lot of fun tbh. Need to round up some mashers to plough through the maps on hardcore!

Im in for a game , I have done all the maps on hardcore they all took around 20-25min the desert map was hardest ,its good that you get cheevys for completeing them hardcore

Im still plugging multi, i cant believe how hard it is to lvl up even with them raising the crate bonus to 250 and a few other raises they implemented.

I only just reached level 22 last night (and got the corresponding achievement and message that leveling will be more difficult from here on in). Sucks. I wish you got XP for Onslaught like you do with Horde in Gears 2.

^Some of those guys have way to much time on their hands. I think Im lvl 22 and 50 seems a long way off

I think onslaught should increase XP esp on hard and hardcore , Im halfway through lvl 32 I found africa harbour on conquest is a good map to score well on with lots of close combat and the flags are quite easy to catch being close together

4th Map pack is out now, Included in the map pack are two maps: Atacama Desert for Rush mode and Port Valdez for Conquest mode. Both are existing maps that have been modified for use in the Rush and Conquest modes, respectively.

No - never paid for it, i downloaded the update but im yet to pay the MS points to activate it, prob wont bother

Played Atacama Desert today a bit, its got some new Vehicles + Stationary gun (Hind, some armoured car that looks like a beefed up hummer, and a mounted chain gun to rip choppers to shreds)

Map pack 5 is out ''white pass'' which is a great rush map with lots of close quaters action also looking foward to the upcoming expansion pack for the game which takes place in the Vietnam War. It is scheduled for release in the winter(our summer) of 2010. In the expansion pack's debut trailer, two F-4 Phantoms and multiple Bell UH-1 Huey helicopters are flying towards a village engulfed in a battle, while Creedence Clearwater Revival's song Fortunate Son is heard on the radio. At the end of the trailer, radio broadcaster Hanoi Hannah famously said "They will give you a medal, G.I. ... but only after you are dead."
The expansion pack contains 4 new maps, persistence, unlocks, new awards, achievements/PSN trophies, as well as weapons and vehicles from that era and it will be the first multiplayer expansion.
