Hopefully he's sleeping and avoiding the post-surgery pain. I had a piece of plastic hit my eye and it was such a disorientating burn. I imagine that's what it would be like only worse in both eyes if you don't take the pain killers.

Went pretty well I think.
I can see fine (tested 20/20 this morning at my followup visit), but my eyes are a little tired and I see a whitish halo/cloud around light. The actual procedure was very endurable. No real pain or discomfort, I could feel the intralase laser cutting the flap at the start though which was a little disconcerting, they said that they hadn't had that happen before and gave me another few anaesthetic drops before doing the big burn. Took some sleeping pills when i got home and took a nap for an hour or two. Gar picked me up for a podcast came home and took some more and went to sleep. Don't remember much of last night other than eating a slice of pizza, and asking gar where he parked his car. Been wearing sunnies and can see pretty well other than the light misting from the light. |

Was $5900. There is also a $150 charge for the initial consultation.
Still a little cloudy and gritty this morning. Looking forward to them clearing up. |
