Hopefully he's sleeping and avoiding the post-surgery pain. I had a piece of plastic hit my eye and it was such a disorientating burn. I imagine that's what it would be like only worse in both eyes if you don't take the pain killers.

Went pretty well I think.

I can see fine (tested 20/20 this morning at my followup visit), but my eyes are a little tired and I see a whitish halo/cloud around light.

The actual procedure was very endurable. No real pain or discomfort, I could feel the intralase laser cutting the flap at the start though which was a little disconcerting, they said that they hadn't had that happen before and gave me another few anaesthetic drops before doing the big burn.

Took some sleeping pills when i got home and took a nap for an hour or two. Gar picked me up for a podcast came home and took some more and went to sleep. Don't remember much of last night other than eating a slice of pizza, and asking gar where he parked his car.

Been wearing sunnies and can see pretty well other than the light misting from the light.

Was $5900. There is also a $150 charge for the initial consultation.

Still a little cloudy and gritty this morning. Looking forward to them clearing up.

So awesome that you went and got it done. What was wrong with your eyes beforehand? Near sighted? Astigmatism?

Hope the recovery process goes well, dude
