Default I want to go to space

I've been following the virgin galactic ( http://www.virgingalactic.com/ ) saga for a while now. They arent opening the doors till 2012, but man, its some exciting stuff for us space geeks.

They have been doing test flights with the "mothership" for a while now and recently did their first public appearance.

They are starting testflights on "spaceship 2" soon and will be launching it from the "mothership" towards the enf the year.

Also, the spaceport has started construction, well the runway at least, so good times ahead.

Any other space geeks out there? Also...anyone feel like buying me a $200,000.00 ticket?

If I had the cash I would so do it! The experience would be awesome.

One of my things I have always wanted to do is go to Cape Canaveral and watch a shutttle take off. That would be sweet as well.

How are they handling the G-forces? Will people need prior training?

they are doing a 3 day training run including a centrifuge for g force. They also go up in the "mothership" while the people actually going up on that day are in the "spaceship", for zero g training. They have done training for 100 or so people. no one has vomited so far apparently

Always wanted to go into space but unless I get a very high paying job once I leave uni I think I'll be hoping for a price decrease too

I don't think the g forces would be too strenuous since these ships use a lot of standard aerodynamic flight to get up there rather than just blasting off at a normal to the surface.

But yeah... I'd so be in if I had any hope of having that much money spare at any point in my life. ._.

Though honestly if they can get enough people's interest then the costs would be significantly reduced. Who knows where this will be in 10 years. If anywhere
