Racing with a Pro: Race 7

Race 7: Camino Viejo Short Circuit - E Class or D class. I don't recall.

I was on pole again, in my MX5. Mooser's Fiat 500 followed me off the line, ahead of Emetic in a similar but cooler looking 500.

Sparky streaked off the mark in his turbo AWD Lancia Delta, ahead of Clark and Shane in identical Integra Type Rs. Down the back

was Teljam in his Celica and Ronin in a Ford Focus.



The first corner carnage set new standards, both for drama and for retardedness, as most of us were expecting the Camino full

circuit, and couldn't make the left hander.



Clark, Teljam and Happy Ronin avoided the mess and passed the whole field to take the lead.



The survivors of the navigation era finally get their shit together and climb the hill. 4th: Mooser, 5th: Emetic, 6th: Gar, 7th: Sparky,

8th: Shane.



Ronin, Mooser and Emetic have a go at jumping into the reservoir on lap 2. I manage to get past Mooser before he can turn around.



Emetic takes out Happy Ronin's Focus, claiming 3rd.

I shove my way past happy Ronin to take 4th.



Emetic tries to go past Clark, but gets snotted onto the grass.



He makes good a couple of turns later though, and moves up to 2nd.



Mooser gets his Fiat up the hill faster than Happy Ronin can manage in his Focus. Then he sets his sights on my Mazda.



Sparky and Shane get up to their usual shenanigans at the back of the field.



Teljam takes the win in his Celica.

Race 7 ended up being a muck around race for me, Maple Valley's where I shine

I'd love to know how many laps I've done around there in my FM life time

The Camino Viejo is one of my favourite tracks :3 Most of its corners rely on carrying a lot of momentum though, so I have trouble making room for other dudes on it... lol.
