Im moving in a few weeks so will need a new connection too, looking forward to having a real cap again. Silly inlaws think "we dont need more than 10gb per month!" not realising we have been going over every month since we moved in a year ago.

Ok a bit of a bump, we are getting into debt with telecom atm, slingshot seems cheaper, any one with experiences with them or any other company that may save us funds?

I've had slingshot in both Auckland and Hamilton. Both seemed pretty good. Our speeds have been relatively good. Figure they over sell their lines by more than others so at busy times interneting can be variable but never bad. Never had issues with gaming. Customer Service line is pretty average....takes forever to get through (30 mins avg) if looking for help. If buying something then much faster! We haven't had any real problems in several years so I say they are alright.

We are currently on $145 for 100gb, switching to $105 for 60gb till we find a better provider.

After ringing around, we are now going with sling shot $111 for unlimited data cap. Suits us well. Also means I have unlimited Tubeplus, yay.

Anyone got Vodafone broadband?
Looking at moving, and the thought of 20gb of Naked Broadband for $55 excites me

I'm on Vodafone and its actually not to bad!
120gb for $95 a month is pretty competitive (double your data) |

So my new house is a month away from being finished and I'm looking into what broadband I should get.
I've always been a TelstraClear customer as they're the fastest and well priced. But stupidly they didn't lay cable in the new subdivision I'm in (even though it runs along the main road about 200m away) so that's a no-go. My next stop was Vodafone but I'm outside their Red network so no dice there either. What good options are left for Wellington? |

I'm outside the red network, doesn't necessarily mean you can't get it.
Naked broadband for $55 a month. 20gb

My understanding was that the red network is faster and cheaper than outside the red network?
