Is it going to be able to track your head movements while you're sitting in a car seat with a steering wheel in front of you?
I'd also be worried about having to keep my head totally still for fear of activating the in-game vision shift. I really don't see how it'll work, but hey, I guess I'll find out when October 11th rolls around... and I hear from the Kinect owners how it works.

It's funny how GT5 touted its head tracking thing so much but I haven't heard of anyone who's actually used it to find out whether it has any possibility of being helpful or if it's just a shitty gimmick which doesn't work right in actual race situations.

I wonder if MS are thinking of releasing a proper wheel to bundle with it. Probably a bit late for any sort of announcement for that though.

The look-to-corner feature of shift 2 is pretty frustrating. I guess the bonus thing for us is, we don't have kinect, lol

Does it do it automatically in Shift 2?
I found any sort of angle-looking in Forza very distracting when purposefully doing so with the control stick, but maybe FM4 will make it natural somehow. For those with Kinect, yeah :3 I'll never know.

I am keen to check this out, so I will pick myself up a XB360 Slim and a Kinect when I move to England, once I have a job that is.

I am officially an XB360 Fanboy, PS3 can lick my balls.

Forza 4 lyfe!

Mate!!

Lets get Loose and Morock together in a Console War thread; it'd be fuckin' carnage!!

Yeah, i'm skeptical about the head-tracking stuff too - sounds like a BS gimmick to me, and unless it's able to be fully utilised with a wheel/racing seat setup, i can't see it being of any real value.

Fafff so they've partnered with Pirelli to get cool tyre physics happening? Super... hopefully that can improve on the previous partnership T10 had with McLaren F1 for the older FM3. Lal games. That article looks like a preview advertisement more than a review, but never mind! I'm looking forward to the game anyway. Though I still hate the bling bling hollywood effects and the marketing self-promotion bombast.

I love the rivals mode! and the shared garage! That'll be super for night owls such as myself. The graphics look cool, ... m... oh, the atmospheric fog to cover pop-in looks great too, I'm glad they've done that. The lighting in the close-up detail also looks great; I hope that behaves the same on track as it does in the auto-vista.

The forza voice thing looked useful for those already owning Kinect, but I remember hearing something about Kinect voice controls not working in Aus/NZ yet? Did they fix that up?

I hope I can be a member of multiple car clubs too o_O

They're aiming to have voice in Aus/NZ by the end of the year. Our accents are tricky. Like circus dogs.

For massive lols: the new MS wireless (kinect controlled, I presume) racing wheel.

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox360/Ac...ss-Speed-Wheel

The Fanatec ones do look awesome though. Expensive (actual carbon fibre face on the elite one) and awesome... considering their old Porsche ones were the "premium" sort, even though I did read about many durability / build quality complaints. These look better :3

The madcatz one doesn't look that bad, actually... but Idk what it runs like. There's a photo on the FM4 facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

It does, but I don't think it'll ever be useful; just a gimmick. I have green-orange-red tacho LEDs on my logitech here and I can't even see them while I'm racing, as I'm always looking at the screen.
