... played a Star wars game, EVER, any of them. Not even a demo. In my twenty something years of gaming. Not a single one.

Whoa. I guess that's like the gamers' equivalent of those people who haven't ever seen the movies (my wife was one of those until a year or two ago).

I was thinking about the gaps in my gaming "career" to date the other day. Off the top of my head, the only thing I can really think of is the Silent Hill games. Haven't played any of them. I hear part 2 is a must-play, as well.

Missed out on a lot of the popular PC games too, as we never had a PC when I grew up. So Duke Nukem, Serious Sam etc - never played.

EDIT: This has also got me thinking about the various Star Wars games I've played (and also how on EARTH you managed to avoid them!). I've played:

Rogue Squadron
Racer (the Episode I racing game on N64)
Shadows of the Empire
Battlefront
The Old Republic I and II
LEGO Star Wars

I've never owned a Playstation of any type, so have never played any of the awesome exclusives there has been.

Not a Xbox fanboy, Nintendo gets a lot of lovin' now and in the past. Just never had a Playstation....

Well I have never........... finished any Mario game or played/even seen World of Warcraft.

Haven't played any of the Fallout games or Elder Scroll games. This is likely to change though as I have Fallout 3 sitting on my shelf waiting for some love and Skyrim is looking pretty nice.

I'm sure there are a bunch of lesser famous franchises I haven't played, but I can't think of any. Panzer Dragoon, does that count?

...I thought I'd never played any sort of StarWars either, but then I remembered something on PC years ago where you re-enacted the 'flying across the outside of Deathstar and blowing up its core' scene

I've never (or barely) played any games from these series:
Battlefield, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Mega Man, Rock Band, Starcraft, BioShock, CoD, Civilization, Diablo, Fallout, Forza, Assassins Creed, Ratchet & Clank.

That's about all I can think of for now.

What was that awesome first person Star Wars shooter on PC years ago? It was one where you were playing as some guy who wasn't in the movies at all. He didn't have any force powers, just guns.

Wow, I thrashed TIE Fighter and Dark Forces back in the day,.

I have never played a Final Fantasy game.

I have never owned a Nintendo product, or an Apple product.

Played a lot of NES at a mate's place though; and I have a Blueberry iMac and a IIe, but they're sitting in storage until I find a classic Mac so I can destroy them all at once for a video.

Actually that's lies. I played Doom over dial-up until I was nauseous and pretty much didn't go near FPS from that point onwards.
