Well good luck, hope it's all sorted.

I got my copy just now so I'll check out the BM community tonight sometime. Probably around 8ish.

Hey CT, yeah it was. Very close races My game disconnected, and wasn't sure if you left or what. I had it happen a couple of other times in other games too, so maybe that's just what happens when the game hoster leaves.

Ugh... Have just spent the past hour with a Nintendo representative accessing my computer remotely, tweaking and playing around with my router settings, and he's just now given up, saying that we've troubleshooted (troubleshot?) as far as we can possibly go given that Belkin routers don't have any advanced settings...

So it looks like, outside of buying a new router, I won't ever be able to play Mario Kart 7 online at this home network

That sucks. How old your router anyways? I was amazed at how much my internet improved when I upgraded my router recently.

Have you check for any firmware upgrades for your router? Can you get online using a friends internet connection?

Well that sucks Leggetron. I can't for the life of me think why only MK doesn't work for you and everything else does. Hope you sort it out. I had a bunch of games online today and I just couldn't put it down. So, so cool.

Damn missed you. They need to add the ability to notify you when a friend comes online with an audio cue. I love the flashing light but if I'm not holding my 3ds at the time I miss it.

Hey dudes.

Newsy - the router is actually fairly new, and it's been a spectacularly unproblematic piece of kit until now. It's incredibly frustrating that it plays nice with everything else that I use but, for some reason, just doesn't want me to play MK7.

Radish - Yup, the firmware is all up to date.

I haven't had a chance to try it out on another wireless network yet, but I'm absolutely positive it'll work fine.

I've actually given up on ever getting this to work on my home network. After a bit of searching around, it seems that Belkin routers have a bit of a problem of disagreeing with Nintendo products (although I never had any problems with Mario Kart Wii when I briefly tried that...). I'm going to have to file this one with tech's great unsolved mysteries - it's taken up too much of my time...
