Hahahahaha. I've never gotten into the racing wheels, I never know where to sit them. Just on your lap?

That's the worst way for actually playing but it's sometimes the only convenient way, as you can easily pack it up when you're finished playing.
Better is to mount them on a little table or desk.
Best is a dedicated seat rig set up, but obviously there's a capital outlay and the issue of having a permanent fixture in your lounge there.

There's no point getting a good wheel then using it on your lap anyway, that's for sure. the force feedback on a G27 would give you some hella bruising tbh

Posted a little late.
Four months of the year down.

34 different games played (3 up from end of March, but all Asura's Wrath DLC played)
16 of which released this year, 8 of which I have played through the single player mode. (2 more finished in April)
6 other games finished, but not released this year.
7 unfinished (that I want to finish): 4 I can see the finish line coming up and the rest still need a bit of attention.

At this rate there's a chance I play ~102 games this year, a drop of 22 due to the fact that my gaming hours have dropped, not reviewing much and not many decent games out in April.

102! This exercise has done one thing. Put me off counting, as I am terrified as to the end of year result.

Been playing:- The Witcher 2, Trials HD, GR:FS Beta and Red Faction:Armageddon.

Aside from Bioshock Infinite I haven't pre-ordered anything, will wait post-E3

I'm frothing at the mouth for the new Transformers game. I might have to get in early with a pre-order for that tbh.

I've played most of the Vita launch line up and online content. ANd a few 360 games now I have one of those.

I want to try out SSX, that looks like mean fun. And I'm looking forward to Max Payne 3. Going to pick up Splinter Cell Conviction and GTA IV Episodes at some point too. I was an SC nut back in the day, although Conviction looks like a radically different game and not for the better maybe... Opinions on that one? Is the MP still baws?

Started up some Killzone 3 last night and WOW. The graphics and sound in that game are just mindblowing. Absolutely mindblowing.

Started Deus Ex Human Revolution on PC today. It's pretty sweet, and unlike most shooters I'm used to; I keep being spotted. Something is up with the surround sound as well, which is annoying.

Have started my Veteran playthrough of Ghost Recon:FS. Its an awesome game. Love the various challenges within each mission to unlock more weapons and achievements etc...

No blimmin matchmaking on the 'horde' mode is a REAL miss-step though.

Just started jamming metro 2033. Reasonably enjoyable thus far, had my expectations ruined by fallout III though
