No, it’s not set in the 14th century (okay I can’t definitively say one way or the other, I’ve just always thought “a long time ago” meant several millennia); the 1313 refers to “Level 1313”, a “ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant”. Players will take control in third person of a bounty hunter, using some exotic weaponry and gadgets (no force shenanigans!) to take down targets and uncover some kind of criminal conspiracy. The press release promises a “never-before-seen dark and mature world” to debut at this E3, though to be honest the biggest news for me is that this has apparently been in develop internally at LucasArts itself, rather than farmed out like every other Star Wars game of late. Oh Yeah. Geez I hope this finally gives 'Star Wars' the gaming outing it deserves.

Anyone else thinking that someone at Lucasarts took a look at Mass Effect and had a little inspiration?
The no force stuff is a cool idea. That was one thing I really liked about Dark Forces. In true Star Wars fashion they went and fucked it up for the sequel. |

Yep. I was thinking the exact same thing when I first read about this. It's like they saw the Omega section from ME2 and remembered how badass the Mos Eisley cantina part of Star Wars was!
