No longer Batman: Arkham Asylum 2, the new game by Rocksteady Studios is now called Batman: Arkham City. It doesn’t seem to have the same ring to it, but with more Batman on offer, what is there to hate?
Arkham City is actually a fortified city within Gotham City. It also looks like Catwoman will be making an apperance. Still have a while to wait however, Batman won’t be beating up thugs and villains until late 2011.
Fable III Opens With An Unlikely Hero

Lionhead have released the opening to Fable III for all to see — well people with YouTube access anyway. This cinematic doesn’t tell the story of your own Fable character, not even of a human, but the story of a chicken. While Fable II had its own bird, it didn’t have an iota of personality that this fowl has.
Pixar-esque in its presentation, no matter what you think of the Fable franchise, it’s an enjoyable III minutes of your time.
Three Gran Turismo 5 Editions Officially Announced

News out today has confirmed the rumours that there will be three different ‘editions’ of Gran Turismo 5. Standard, Collectors and the Signature Edition. Final pricing is yet to be announced for New Zealand, we do know the the EU Signature Edition will retail for €179.99 and the lesser Collectors Edition will be €79.99.

Dirt 3 Trailer Released

Here we get our first look at the third instalment of the ‘Dirt’ franchise. Judging by the video the game seems to be stepping away from it’s multi-sport truck and buggy racing of late and focusing more on it’s historic roots of pure rallying. Plus with some explosive (oh dear, more explosions) gymkhana style racing. Then again I may be reading WAY too much into what is just the first (of hopefully many) video release of one of next years biggest racing games. Cheers to @EbgamesNZ tweet for the link.

Medal of Honor & Linkin Park Trailer

EA is almost Linkin Park’s new label. Not only does this Medal of Honor trailer feature the new Linkin Park song, “The Catalyst”, but the video itself is also directed by Linkin Park’s DJ. Yeah…
The trailer is a mix of live action and gameplay, and it’s a little disconcerting. But overall it’s a decent watch, and there’s that bearded fellow from the game box!

With Brian finally being voted off Podcast Island, Wugga and Gar are left to vie for the one million dollar cash prize. But what’s this!? A new challenger has appeared and the game starts anew? Most, if not all, of the credit for the stories on this podcast goes to Gar. Kudos, sir.
Hydro Thunder Hurricane Review (XBLA)

The second release in the 2010 Winter of Arcade, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, may seem familiar to some out there. This is because it is a sequel to the original 1999 arcade great, Hydro Thunder, which also appeared on the Dreamcast, Playstation, and N64. Various spin offs where also made including 4X4 Thunder and Arctic Thunder. So what we have here is a good solid arcade jet boat racer that really reminds me of Star Wars: Episode One – Pod Racer, which is a good thing in my books.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 Review (Xbox 360)

Normally one of the talking points of a new Tiger Woods PGA Tour release is what new holes there are to do, but given the real life events that have occurred in the last 12 months, EA Sports probably decided it would be better to focus on other aspects of Tiger’s game. South Park had earlier hinted at a change of direction for the series, but the final product takes a more traditional approach to the Gentleman’s game (Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden).
